Aizawl, Aug 9 : Zoram Kuthnathawktu Pawl (Mizoram Farmers’ Association) today hailed the United Democratic Alliance as the ‘new messiah to save the people from adversities and oppression’.

Hehehe… from a PR perspective, this is actually a very good catch phrase. Our state is a Christian majority state, so what better ways to capture the people’s trust (and vote) than to toy around with Biblical words?
Clever people, if you may ask me, although not ethical at all… but then again, an ethical politician is an oxymoron.

Politicians are a kind of species, just like there are lions, horses, humans etc…. there are politicians. So it does’nt matter who wins, they will still be politicians and we all know what politicians are like….So don’t raise your hopes too much

I have lost faith in petty and party politics of our State. All parties look the same for me – beautiful promises but no fulfilment. So come next election, I will not vote along party lines anymore. I will just vote for an individual I like. Maybe he will help me have a swimming pool like the one Aryan has in Australia.
