AIZAWAL: The Mizoram government and an Israeli company has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) which would enable orange growers here replace the ‘disease- infected’ orange variety and grow Israeli hi-bred variety, Horticulture department official s said here today.

Good news. I hope the supply will not exceed demand. Like the rotting ginger story, clearly, we need an MoU for storage, processing, distribution and marketing. Enough of piece meal approaches – we need a holistic view of the entire supply chain…
