I think you need a video in port on your computer. Some graphics card has that capability.

Also.. looks like the camera should have a/v out. With these two
- Video-in in our computer
- A/V out from Camera
You should be able to capture video from the camera. To use it as webcam with IM clients, I think it might need some special software.
